99% DIY | FOUNDATION TO BB CUSHION

Hello everyone, in today's post, I will be sharing my 99% DIY on how to turn your favourite foundation into BB Cushion. As simple as it can be, all you need to do is squeeze out all your foundation into the BB cushion container and that's it but no.. I'm taking a step further to ensure that my foundation is going to be the best foundation, last all day and moisturizing as well.

THINGS THAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • An empty BB Cushion
  • YOUR favourite foundation or BB cream
  • primer
  • serum or moisturizer for moisturizing
  • spatula for combining all this ingredients

Firstly, you can buy an empty BB cushion from amazon or if you're like me, I'll just use my empty BB cushion that's lying around the house. The reason why I started filling my cushions with foundation is

a) its super convenient especially when you're out and about,

b) its rather easy carry one makeup than having to carry a whole makeup bawith you.

I actually have one ready and I love it! Because I have my Loreal cushion sitting my cupboard, I thought it would be great if I share with you my kind of BB cushion.

As you can see, I lay out several items that I will be using in making my own BB cushion. Instead of using a foundation, I'm going to use Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector, Catrice Prime and Fine and Aloe Moisturizing Essence.

Some of you might ask, why bother mixing all up? This is my answer, because I'm a lazy person who wants to put make up on but didn't have the time. By mixing all up, I could really save so much time and do it on the go. (and so people don't look at you in a weird way because you're putting makeup on the go. Trust me, been there, done that!)

Right after you clean your inner container (apologies for the yucky container). I start to mixed up a bit of BB, primer and essence and also try onto your hand or neck or wherever you like first, to ensure that the mixture is alright for your skin. I don't really have a perfect measurement. I just go with my guts. I mean if the foundation is too dry, you might want to add more essence to ensure the moisture or vice versa.

Mix all the product until its perfectly combine and place in your sponge. Personally, I like to place the sponge and make sure that its all absorb and turn the sponge over to you get evenly coated product rather than struggling to get the product out from the bottom of your sponge.

And so there it is. My super duper simple 99% DIY turning your foundation into a BB cushion that you can take with you wherever you go. Super handy I tell ya!

P.S : Do avoid oil product because it will separate your final product after certain hours.
P.P.S : I would choose a serum over moisturizer because its much more thicker and doesn't damage the final product.
