You know that the days have come when your Bloglovin' feeds is filled with Valentine's Day post. The range is from the most luxurious celebration to the most simple and lovely celebration that you could ever have. I know some people will be like,
"heck yeah, Valentine's is not for me!" because girl, I get you!

Basically as a Muslim, we do not celebrate Valentine's but this post isn't really about celebrating and focusing on Valentine's. I know that Valentine's is about showing your love but why focus on one day. I mean, we have 365 days and you could show your love all day, all year round. I think that would be more special.

In this special special Valentine's post, I'd like to share what I like to do on my so called 'Valentines Celebration' to be. I know most people would be leaning over luxurious but I like it to be a small, simple, private.. you know.. just the two of you.. But what's great is when you could spend your day not only with your other half but also with your friends and families or maybe with strangers that you stumble upon on the street but most important part is to have time for own as well.

Here are some simple ideas on that you could choose from according to the categories.

Couples | Picnic by the beach & homemade food
Oh yes yes yes. A simple picnic with some lovely food would be soooo amazing and having fun together, taking pictures on a polaroid. I remember going on a picnic with my family and my mom would could simple yet amazing food from home. I felt like, those are the moments that you can't buy with money. Sometimes, you don't need to spent extra money to make your love ones happy but just your presence could lit their day.

Strangers | Bouquet of flowers
Its common for a girlfriend, wife or a mom to received a bouquet of fresh flowers but I always wanted to give bunch of bouquets to strangers. Especially to some people who are unfortunate to received good amount of love and affections and warmth, imagine giving them like 100 red roses on this particular day. I wonder how their reaction will be? I wish I could find out one day.

Girls Night | Glittery movie night
If you ask me what's the best way to celebrate, I would be chilling out on my bed with my comfy cloths, wrapped up like a burrito and put on a Valentine's movie. I don't have any specific movie to watch but I'd like to re-watch Me Before You because its just too cute too handle, except for the sad ending.
Take your girls night to the next level by having glittery and full with scented candles, fairies light and some sparkling room to chill with on your movie night. I know that squad would love it!
Oh, don't forget the snacks!
Glittery Donuts, crisps, marshmallows, popcorn, ice cones..
go to town girl!

Self pampered | Homemade Spa
As much as I love to spend my time outside, there's always time that I like to pamper myself with a great hot shower, body scrub..  I mean, you know the drill..
Currently, I'm still using my St Ives Apricot Scrub because I bought the large tub and now I'm dying to finish it. But currently I have my eyes on Tumeric Body Scrub from The Beauty Hacks. So hopefully, I could get my hands on that beasty soon.
When it comes to body scrubs, you don't always need to spent your money to have smooth and silky skin. Homemade scrub is waaaaaay better and you can tweak as to your liking.

I bet Lush will be coming out with tons of Valentine's bath bombs. Imagine treating yourself in a warm bath with scented candles light up your bathroom. Such a romantic feelings..
