BEAUTY REVIEW: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Assalamualaikum and how are you doing? I am back with another beauty review and this times its a good one!

For the past few months, bloggers are all about the Garnier Micellar Water and I've been reading all of them which I can conclude that we are tight at 50-50. Some of you is a yay and some of you is a nay.

But hey, you can't have too many testimonies, can you? And so here I am doing my part as a blogger to share with you.. was it worth it GARNIER MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER?

Before I ramble more about the the product. It is wise to know your skin type. As for me, I have  very sensitive and oily skin and of course, when it comes to makeup remover, we want the best for our face.

When I get the product, I did not have much to say because I know the product based on what I read. First of all, the product was okay, the formula was fine, the technology of not having to use water was amazing. Some of the bloggers said that it left a film on their skin which I don't experience that but having a sensitive skin is a major concern because after twice wearing it, I feel an irritation going on on my cheekbones (my cheekbones area are very sensitive). I thought because it was something else and I still continue using it.

After a week, the irritation become worst and I had to stop using the product. In term of the product itself, it does takes of the make up but its not as good as my baby oil. Tbh, it does leave some makeup residue behind and I'm not happy with that. On self experimental, I had to use 3 cotton pad to make sure all my makeup is removed. So, it wasn't really 'with one touch' like how Garnier claim in to be.

How does my skin react?
After several uses, I'm experiencing lil bums on all over my face. It could be a reaction or something just doesn't seems right but as for now, I am going makeup-free for a week and see if my skin gets any better.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give a 5.

Would I repurchase this item?
No, I won't because my baby oil works even better and its much cheaper.

QOTD: Have you use any micellar water from Garnier's range? Does your skin love it?

Love, Sofea

Disclaimer: I am by all means not a beauty guru and all the opinion is from my personal experience.
