I'm sorry for those who saw the unfinished post to this but here I am again, trying to steal some time off my work to write a blogpost. Not sure if I'm going to post it as soon as I'm finish but I hope I will.

Before you continue reading, I have been wanting to switch language and I'm not sure how because honestly most of my readers are from UK, US, Canada etc etc. I'm still weighing my choice but I really want to show and portray my real me and by writing in English, I don't really feel like it. Get it? No? Yes? Its okay. We'll let the time decide.

Hair care is an essential steps to all women that I personally like to take it slow and work with my hair. I don't own many hair care product like other youtubers or bloggers but I am taking an extra step. Personally, those who seen me without hijab, they loooooooove my hair! I have been doing this research for about a year-- going into youtube and read some beauty bloggers and I have take everything into account and create my own which I'm pretty happy with the result.

Considering that I wear hijab, hair care routines is as important as my skin care routine. I have pretty oily hair and I do have scalp problem since I was a baby to my choice of shampoo varies throughout the process. It does't matter what shampoo or product you use, you can incorporate that with what your hair really need.

1. Brush hair before shower // Meredith Foster: One thing that I learn from her routine videos is that she comb her hair with her beloved tangle teezer before washing them. This is to release any knot in your hair and water are able to seep in and reach to your roots.

2. Double washing // Maria Johnson: She uses double washing techniques, I guess most saloon does this and I have tried this technique. I 100% encourage everyone, men or women to try this technique. I mean its self explanatory like how you do double cleansing. This is how she does it-- she will wash her hair with shampoo to get any debris, oil or foreign stuff in the hair and wash it off. She will then wash it again as in to properly lather the shampoo onto her hair and massage her scalp using her fingers. Wash it off again and continue with conditioner.

3. Oil or serum  // Niomi Smart: In one of her routine videos, Niomi stated that one of her secret to have a healthy hair is to use an any desired oil - morrocan oil, argan oil or any other hair oil when your hair 50% damp. Dry your hair with with a towel and once its 50% dry, apply oil at the end of  your hair. This will reduce split ends and your hair will grow stronger.

5. Avoid heat // Niomi Smart: The reason between Niomi great/nice hair is because she never.. I mean she might have you heat on her hair but the best way to take a good care of your hair is to avoid using heat. If she need some curls, she will put into braid the night before and sleep with it and wake up with a pretty decent wave or curls as you called it.

Me, My Purdah & My Journey

Alhamdulillah, dah 2 years since I make the decision untuk pakai purdah. Honestly, it was the biggest decision in my life untuk pakai purdah sebab my background and what and who I am during that period of time sangat tak memberangsangkan.

I started to fall in love with purdah since sekolah menengah. During that time, one of my senior pakai purdah and I fall in love with her appearance. Walaupun dia pakai semua hitam tapi MashaAllah, she is so beautiful. Daripada Form 4, I start to learn on how to wear, how to eat and all those related to purdah.
Alhamdulillah, on my 20th birthday, Allah panggil untuk perform Umrah and during dekat Mekah, I remember how I want to buy a purdah so bad and I bought one. The first time I put the purdah on, there's no word to describe the feeling. Walaupun purdah hitam tapi sejuknya Allah yang tahu. Since then I never leave my purdah behind. Its my best friend, my life.

Well, honestly, I still do wear makeup. I still buy bunch of makeup products and people often question me.. Why?
You see.. I don't wear make up to show my blinding highlighter. I don't wear make up to show (as to what orang selalu katakan.. pakai makeup mesti nak menunjuk.. pfft!). I wear make up untuk my own confident booster. I don't have a nice skin, I have imperfections, I have blemishes and makeup help to concealed and make me look a lil pretty. sikit je la. tak banyak pun. haha

Currently the only makeup product that I use is Maybelline FitMe Matte Poreless compact powder in shade 222 True Beige. On certain occasion, of course I will melaram! Blinding highlighter, nude or red lips, mascara, brows, eye shadows yada yada yada.. but still, purdah is still on. That's just how I like it.

Allah. When it come to dugaan, I have gone through a lot and still going through. Pandangan orang towards yang pakai purdah ni mostly more leaning kepada yang pakai purdah kena lemah lembut, mostly jenis passive but I break the stereotype by being who I am. Some of them boleh terima and some of them just can't. I'm sorry that I can't be how society portrays me to be.
There's time bila ade orang soal, "pakai purdah sebab trend ke?". The good thing about this is, I don't care. Well, melenting tu harus lah. Darah muda kan tapi bila dah lama lama. Its my life. I have the right to do what I want to do.
There's a lot of rude people out there. If any of you reading this and alhamdulillah dapat hidayah untuk pakai purdah. I say, go for it! You never know what a piece of kain can do to you.

I have to say, dugaan pakai tudung, dugaan pakai tudung labuh, dugaan pakai purdah sangat lah berbeza. Serupa dengan dugaan bercinta, tunang and kahwin. Dugaan yang sangat berbeza. Cumanya kuat atau tidak tapi one thing I want to share is, kebergantungan kita dengan Allah. percaya. Put your trust in Him, in sha Allah everything will be okay.

Ade certain people yang akan terasa bila pakai purdah sebab kena pakai jubah je. haha. Don't worry. When you pakai purdah, tak perlu pakai jubah pun. Any loose outfit dah memadai. Concept tutup aurat ni mudah je. Pakai yang longgar, tutup mana yang patut di tutup, kalau jalan.. jangan nampak bentuk badan (because current fashion ade banyak baju or seluar yang flowy tapi ikut alunan badan bila kita bergerak. That's a total no no!)

Alhamdulillah after 2 years of wearing purdah, I can finally say that whenever I go out without purdah (atas sebab tertentu; kerja or gathering with family) I really do miss covering my face. Even before, when I was a kid, I never tell anyone especially strangers what my real name is. I always like to keep myself, my true identity hidden from the world.

Assalamualaikum, love!

Well, Ramadhan is way over.. Syawal is almost over and here I am, back on track getting even busier than ever. Busyness is not suppose to kick in until next semester but hey, someone decided to bring our event project forward. But then again, why am I not surprise? *cries*

Life update:

I am currently busy with project task and stuff but I've made up my mind that I want to blog and I will find time to blog as well. Now, if you have been here long enough, I don't really.. wait no.. you know that I always.. ALWAYS take time off with blogging because honestly speaking, my plate is full!

I'm currently juggling uni assignment, event project, 2 other events; one is pending and one will be this Thursday, mock meeting. I don't think that I will be going home as much as I plan I would. No more dating, no social life and of course no more spending money on unnecessary item because I really need a holiday when all of this finish.

Yes, blogging is a way that I could flush out my stress and sit on my bed or anywhere with plug point, stick my earphones in and Spotify is there with my favourite playlist to get me into the mood to just write.
I have been planning few blogpost and I starting writing few of 'em that is all lifestyle basis. So far, I'm pretty proud of myself but I don't want to give credit yet. My life might just take a upside down turn and I'll never know.

I am currently.. CONSTANTLY on my phone, on Pinterest looking for a way to start a quick and healthy morning routine or just a general routine that include self-care on a busy day which is my typical everyday including weekend. *sigh*

I have been making few boards including minimalism routines and my personal development and some other makeover board. Haha.

I'm currently searching stuff to makeover my bedroom to that's why. Suggest me some idea on how to make my small room lively and doesn't feel like a room but more like a personal space that people can actually come in and lay around..

In the next few blogpost, I will update on how minimalism lifestyle affect on my everyday lifestyle. I would say, for now, it have been positive and I have been waking up to full energy to take on the world!

RAMADHAN 20: Call them to bear witness

Ibn Abbas(RAH) narrated that:
the Prophet send Muadh to Yemen, and said: “You are going to some people among the People of the Book. Call them to bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that I am the messenger of Allah. If they obey that, then tell them that Allah has enjoined upon them five prayers every day and night. If they obey that, then tell them that Allah has enjoined upon them charity (Zakat) from their wealth, to be taken from the rich and given to their poor. If they obey that, then beware of (taking) the best of their wealth. And beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between and Allah.”

RAMADHAN 19: Night of Al-Qadr

Aishah narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah would Yujawir (stay in I'tikaf) during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan and he said: 'Seek the Night of Al-Qadr during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan.'"

RAMADHAN 18: Whom do you consider a wrestler among you?

Allah (b. Mas`ud) reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:
Whom do you consider a wrestler among you? The people replied: (the man) whom the men cannot defeat in wrestling. He said: No, it is he who controls himself when he is angry.

RAMADHAN 17: Noble habit of eating.

Ka'b bin Maalik Radiyallahu 'Anhu says:
"It was the noble habit of Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wasallamn to use three fingers whilst eating and-he also licked them".
